Davide Ancelotti is in Madrid and on Sunday he was at the Bernabeu to watch Real Madrid‘s thrashing of Betis. It was a visit that was a mixture of pleasure and work, as he was able to closely follow the performances of Vinicius and Rodrygo in his capacity as assistant coach of the Brazilian national team.
At the end of the match, Davide spoke to El Chiringuito. Ancelotti’s son spoke about his future plans and defended Xabi Alonso. “Now I’m on holiday and I’ve come to cheer on Real Madrid. The lucky charm is here and we win. I’m glad I gave him luck,” he joked. At the same time, the coach announced that his next goal will be to prepare for the World Cup as part of Brazil’s coaching staff. “I’m going to give dad a hand,” he said.
Defends Xabi and Vinicius
Davide did not want to go into much detail about Real Madrid’s current situation, mainly with regard to Xabi Alonso. However, he did have words of praise for the Madrid coach, whom he defended: “Xabi is a fantastic coach and a wonderful person. I only have good words for him because we have lived very good moments. I wish him all the best to him and to Real Madrid”. On the fact that his name has been linked to the white team in case of a departure of Xabi Alonso, Davide was blunt: “None of that, I’m in another stage of my professional life.
