Lionel Messi is not usually a person who feels comfortable with interviews, much less one who talks about his personal life in front of the cameras. However, in the interview published by the Argentine streaming channel Luzu, the Inter Miami forward surprised everyone by talking literally about everything and even commented on how he would like to remain linked to soccer when the time comes for his retirement

The classic question that is usually asked of older players is what they will do once they retire from football and in this case, Messi was quite clear in pointing out his preferences, where he ruled out being a football coach and following in the footsteps of Diego Armando Maradona, who coached the Argentine national team in a World Cup.

At 38 years of age, Messi is focused on his last World Cup, where he will seek to defend the 2022 crown. However, the striker knows that he has few years left in football and therefore, he is already analyzing his future.

Continuing with personal issues, Messi also spoke about mental health and how he works on his personal issues. The 10 was quite sincere in confessing that at one point in his life he did go to therapy.

“I don’t do therapy now. At the time I did, in Barcelona. I’m a lot of eating things myself, of keeping problems to myself. I changed a lot,” explained the Inter Miami star.

The Argentine striker also explained that he sometimes likes to be alone and have a bit of peace at home. “I really like being alone, I enjoy being alone. When the kids are running around the house, there’s a lot of mess (laughs),” added the Argentine.
