It has been a tumultuous – to put it lightly – past few days for the University of Michigan. Their respected football program is in the limelight for all of the wrong reasons. Head coach Sherrone Moore was fired for having an inappropriate relationship with a staff member. That was followed shortly after with Moore getting arrested.

All in all, it’s a terrible look for Michigan, but not something they’re completely unaccostumed to. While Jim Harbaugh was the head coach, the football program was in the spotlight negatively plenty of times, leading to suspensions and even arrests for some involved with the program. “Still processing that like a lot of people, I’m sure.“

For a personality that’s keen to give thought-provoking quotes, this was not one of them. Who can really blame Harbaugh, though? He spent five years together with Moore, and they surely have kept some sort of relationship going despite going in separate directions. Harbaugh also knows anything he says will make headlines, no matter what it is.
