Life goes on as usual. Cristiano Ronaldo continues to score and the countdown to 1,000 goals continues.

The match began at 18:30 (Spanish time) with great expectation. Not because of the match itself, which had little to show. It was the return of Cristiano Ronaldo after his two-week rebellion. The Portuguese was not happy with the transfer policy in the Saudi Arabian League and decided to go on indefinite strike. Until today.

The match started at a good pace, with Jorge Jesus’ team pressing high. And as a result of this good pressure, the first goal of the match came. By whom? By the protagonist of the afternoon, Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro.

After the goal, Al-Nassr suffered. Several saves by Bento prevented the equaliser in the first 45 minutes. In the second half, Simakan scored from a corner. After an endless review, the goal was ruled out for offside against Mane.

The game from then on was unbearable. No chances. Until a great goal by Yahya. The striker had just replaced Mane and hooked a left-footed shot past Pacheco into the top corner.

Nothing else happened until the end of the match, when Cristiano was substituted. It was the fifth consecutive game that Jorge Jesus’ side have kept a clean sheet and their seventh consecutive victory.
