Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez is one of the greatest boxing figures that Mexico has ever produced and his popularity continues to grow to this day, so we are impressed by the millionaire fortune he has after all these years of work.

The boxer’s career is quite long, so it is certainly striking how much income he generates and that he has everything to be on track to surpass one billion dollars by the time he retires.

Therefore, the Mexican’s commercial representative, Richard Schaefer, made a projection about everything Alvarez could earn and how much money he would retire with, as it is a huge amount, he told Fight Hub TV.

“He’s the smartest boxing entrepreneur I’ve ever met. He’s going to surpass a billion dollars in net worth. I have no doubt about that,” he said.

Canelo’s multi-million dollar contracts

There is no doubt that he remains one of the main faces of the boxing world, which is why he has become not only a great sportsman, but also a businessman due to all the money he continues to generate worldwide.

Simply with Golden Boy Promotions and DAZN, the Guadalajara native signed a $365 million contract for a total of 11 fights, but it is worth noting that he did not manage to complete all of these fights, so the relationship with Oscar de la Hoya’s promoter did not end in the best way.

Canelo Alvarez’s new million-dollar business

A few months ago, he signed another deal with Riyadh Season and Turki Al-Alshikh, to get on the king in four fights which could amount to $400 million, the first of which has already taken place against William Scull, for $80 million, and the next will be against Terence Crawford for $150 million.

That is to say that if he continues at this pace, making million-dollar fights and staying in the business for the next two or three years, he could increase his fortune, as it is said that he could fight against Dmitry Bivol or David Benavidez and with that, get the aforementioned amount for his retirement.

All these achievements could lead the Mexican to become one of the most successful and wealthy boxers by the time he retires.
