“They’re so patient,” head coach David Adelman said about Jokic and Murray. “We can control the game at the end because of those two players.” That patience and chemistry are the foundation of Denver‘s success. Jokic‘s ability to orchestrate the offense from multiple spots on the floor, combined with Murray‘s shot creation and scoring versatility, makes them one of the most difficult tandems to defend in the league.
Their production is not limited to a single area-they contribute across the board, involving teammates while maintaining scoring efficiency. The familiarity between Denver and Minnesota only adds to the intensity. Since the start of the 2022-23 season, the two teams have faced each other 28 times, splitting those matchups evenly before Game 1.
