The Dodgers have a brutal message for their haters and those who believe they are ruining baseball

The Los Angeles Dodgers are not the only team that likes to open their wallet to invest big, but they are the ones that have dominated in recent years, and this is something that other owners may not be able to tolerate. In MLB, they’ve reached the point of saying that the LA team is ruining baseball, but the only certainty is that they’ve managed to bring together several pieces to achieve the success they’re having.

Under this scenario, one of their stars came out to send a brutal message to all the Dodgers haters, right after clinching their second consecutive title after seven games were needed to determine the champion.

Max Muncy was tough and direct with the haters

The Dodgers‘ third baseman, Max Muncy, responded forcefully to those who believe the team is not the best in all of MLB.

“It’s funny how back-to-back years the best team didn’t win, or that’s what people say,” Muncy said jokingly to Foul Territory. “I’m really happy the best team didn’t win.”

Dave Roberts‘ team overcame the Toronto Blue Jays in seven games, though they needed 18 innings to secure one of those wins, plus going to the eleventh inning in the decisive Game 7.

“A seven-game series, that’s enough games for teams to kind of separate themselves a little bit,” Muncy said. “….I always felt like the team that is going to win is going to separate themselves a little bit.”

The Dodgers will now seek a third consecutive World Series in 2026, amid harsh criticism for their enormous payroll spending that includes big names led by Shohei Ohtani.

Regarding Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Muncy had nothing but praise for the World Series MVP pitcher.

“Yoshi putting his body on the line like that to get us a win, it’s hard to describe that in words,” Muncy added.
