The Argentine star is the boss on the pitch, but at home the music is played by his children, as Messi himself has revealed in an interview. In this playlist, as expected, predominates the Latin sounds that are currently trending.

In an interview with the streaming channel Luzu TV, Lionel Messi showed an everyday, relaxed side with no poses or prepared speeches. The world champion said that at home the music is played by his children: “The kids handle that a lot,” said Messi honestly.

It is not surprising that the most repeated names are urban pop and reggaeton artists. Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee and Rosalia are regulars in Messi’s house. In addition to Bizarrap, an Argentine producer, who has managed to connect with the new generations.

Messi admits his taste for Bad Bunny and Rosalia

Messi acknowledged that he likes Bad Bunny and Rosalia, although he made it clear that he does not consider himself an expert or a demanding music lover. Music, in his case, plays a practical role: to fill the house with energy and accompany family moments.

Messi has been mentioned in Bad Bunny‘s songs, something that the Argentine captain was grateful for, and he also revealed that they occasionally send messages to each other: “In fact, with Bad Bunny I was recording. We did a commercial together for Adidas, we were there together and I met him. Now recently we got together again and we have sent each other a couple of messages”.

In addition, Messi also mentioned another Argentine author, although one who is more popular with his generation: Charly Garcia. The ’10’ pointed to a specific personal experience that marked him. He recalled the greeting he received from the Argentine musician in his last match at the Estadio Monumental.

It was inexplicable… he has a special energy

What music does Lionel Messi listen to?

In addition to Bad Bunny, Bizzarap and Rosalia, whom he listens to under the influence of his children, Messi also listens to music under the influence of his wife, Antonella Roccuzzo. On previous occasions, Messi has declared his weakness for the reggae genre, under the influence of his partner.

Reggae is something special, because I started listening to it thanks to Antonella and I love it. I love it every time it plays because it reminds me of those moments at the beginning, of her

The Argentine star’s statements make it clear that the little Messis: Thiago, Ciro and Mateo, Latinos at heart, enjoy contemporary music in their own language. They are all currently part of Inter Miami’s youth ranks where, each in their own category, they stand out and are set to continue the dynasty when their time comes.
