Man arrested at Trump National Golf Club with weapons and body armor

As President Donald Trump balances a demanding second term with a busy schedule of high-stakes policy retreats and diplomatic summits, his properties continue to serve as the epicenter of both American politics and the golf world. However, with that high profile comes an unprecedented level of security. Recent events at the Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles have highlighted the ongoing risks associated with presidential-level protection, as local authorities recently intervened in a potentially lethal situation involving a heavily armed suspect.

Joker-Themed Threat: The Arrest of Sean Steiner at Trump National

The quiet atmosphere of Rancho Palos Verdes was shattered this week when the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department arrested 36-year-old Sean Steiner near the President’s luxury course. According to police reports, Steiner was spotted by a vigilant citizen while hiking in a ballistic vest and carrying a Joker- inspired rifle, a semi-automatic weapon painted in the character’s signature green and purple with “HA HA HA HA” and “Why so serious?” scrawled across the stock.

Deputies quickly flooded the area, finding Steiner running through traffic on Palos Verdes Drive South. Upon his arrest, authorities seized not only the loaded rifle but also a loaded revolver, an AR-style pistol, and high-capacity magazines. Steiner allegedly admitted to discharging a weapon in a nearby landslide area shortly before his capture, claiming he was trying to “get some anger out.”

While President Trump was not on the premises during the security breach, the incident serves as a chilling reminder of the volatile nature surrounding high-profile political figures. Steiner now faces multiple felony firearm charges, and law enforcement has reaffirmed the importance of the “See Something, Say Something” protocol in preventing a potential tragedy at one of the most prestigious sites in Los Angeles.

Masters Predictions: President Trump Weighs in on Tiger Woods’ Future

Beyond the security headlines, President Trump remains one of the most vocal analysts in the sport. During a recent interview with Fox News, the President offered his “inside scoop” on the status of Tiger Woods ahead of the 2026 Masters. Despite the golf world’s hope for a competitive return, Trump broke the news that the fifteen-time major winner would likely skip the playing field this year.

“I love Tiger, but he won’t be there. Well, he’ll be there, but he won’t be playing in it,” Trump remarked, citing his personal connections to the Woods family. This update comes as Tiger continues a laborious recovery from back surgery, emphasizing the toll the game has taken on the 50-year-old icon.
