It could be one of those ‘bombshell’ signings. According to English media, specifically the Daily Mirror, Liverpool midfielder Mac Allister is on Manchester United’s radar for next summer. Although there are still a few months to go before the market opens, the Red Devils’ executives are already shaping the next project, especially with one of the big reinforcements such as the Argentine footballer.

Manchester United will need to strengthen in midfield ahead of next season, as the club announced a few weeks ago that Casemiro will leave the team at the end of the current campaign.

Mac Allister, 27, is under contract at Liverpool until 2028. The Argentine arrived at Anfield from Brighton in a deal that was valued at 55 million in 2023. The important economic amount that the Reds would now demand, is joined by the enormous rivalry that exists between the two clubs, which would undoubtedly make the operation very complicated.
