The 2026 World Baseball Classic will be a true party and is this year’s most important event for the “King of Sports,” running from March 5 to 17 at various international venues and bringing together some of the planet’s best MLB stars.

It is in this context that Puerto Rico emerges as one of the big favorites, with major Major League Baseball figures already shining and the added advantage of hosting the first round of the WBC 2026.

Bad Bunny will leave his mark on his national team

The Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny will once again be a protagonist in the sports world by collaborating with Adidas on exclusive special cleats for the Puerto Rico national team.

It was Los Angeles Dodgers player Kiké Hernández who revealed this detail during an interview with ESPN, proudly showing off the design created by Bad Bunny, made specifically for this team aiming for glory in the 2026 World Baseball Classic.

Hernández detailed that the artist himself came up with the design, incorporating his initials alongside those of Puerto Rico, turning the cleats into a symbol of identity and national pride heading into the WBC 2026.

We’ll have to see if this extra motivation serves as fuel for a team looking to dethrone Japan in a World Baseball Classic where other powerhouses like the United States and the Dominican Republic also stand out as title contenders.
