Harry Kane sends a strong message to PSG after eliminating Real Madrid: “We can beat anyone”

Harry Kane was one of the standout players in Bayern Munich‘s run to the Champions League semifinals, scoring one of the four goals in the 4-3 victory over Real Madrid (6-4 on aggregate).

The 32-year-old striker already has his sights set on the first leg against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, April 28, and sent a message of confidence to the team, but also a clear warning to their upcoming opponents.

Kane sends a strong message to PSG

The German side prevailed in a thrilling tie against Álvaro Arbeloa’s team and will now look to strike again in the Champions League, but this time against a PSG side that also enters as one of the heavy favorites.

In that regard, Kane warned that Bayern is not content with having eliminated Madrid and already has its sights set on the next challenge. In an interview with TNT Sports (via GOAL), the forward highlighted his team’s strength following the victory and sent a clear message about what lies ahead:

If we play at our level, we can beat anyone, including PSG, one of the best teams in Europe.

Kane’s message reflects the confidence currently surrounding Bayern, which has shown character in overcoming adversity during the series and is now emerging as a serious contender for the European title.

Buoyed by the recent victory, in which he scored his 50th goal of the season, the forward also admitted: “Beating Real Madrid at this stage of the season gives you a lot of confidence.”

Bayern remains in contention, leading the Bundesliga by 12 points. Additionally, they are in the DFB Cup semifinals, where they will face Bayer Leverkusen, and now, also in the Champions League. “Since the beginning of the year, we haven’t stopped talking about how we’re still in the running in every competition,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Champions League semifinals will kick off in Paris at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday, April 28, at 3:00 PM ET, and everything will be decided in Germany during the second leg at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, May 6, at the same time.
