Norwegian striker Erling Haaland of Manchester City has published a photo on social media in which he appears standing on a scale, with the message “all good”, in relation to his coach Pep Guardiola’s warning about the weight gain of his players at Christmas time.
“On the 25th (of December) I’m going to be there controlling how many kilos they put on. They arrive ‘chubby’. They can eat at Christmas, but I want to control them, I have to make the call for the 27th against Nottingham Forest,” said the Spanish coach earlier this week.

Guardiola’s side will play the 18th round of the Premier League at Forest, and they will do so from second place in the table with 37 points, two behind Arsenal and in good form.
