In the world of sports, there are strong bonds between some of the top athletes, and not necessarily from the same discipline. An example of this is the bond between Floyd Mayweather and James Harden

Both athletes have supported each other at their different events, being there for each other in front row seats. They also share a taste for the good life and luxury items, according to Essentially Sports.

And although the former boxing champion is a millionaire, Harden gave him a gift that showed that money does not buy everything.

Essentialy Sports reports that the Los Angeles Clippers player launched his new Adidas Volume 9 sneakers in early January in the United States, and made sure that ‘Money’ had his.

The basketball player made sure that Mayweather received two of his Metamorphosis, a pair in semi-court green and another in intense black.

And this is not an expensive gift, as according to Adidas, they cost $160. It was more than that, a matter of respect.

Mayweather thanks Harden for the gift

The sports media outlet reports that, through his Instagram stories, ‘Money’ uploaded a photo of the shoes and added the text: “Thanks @jharden13 for the new basketball shoes. I appreciate it, family.”

In March, the Clippers guard announced the global launch of Metamorphosis and did so in style, sharing photos of himself stepping out of his custom Maserati V9, a car designed to match his eye-catching sneakers.
