The 2025 ATP season is in full swing with the Doha Open currently stealing the spotlight. The world’s best tennis players gathered at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, looking to claim the trophy and join their names with legends such as Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg, Roger Federer, and Andy Murray.

This year’s main draw in Qatar is headed by world number three, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, followed by Australian Alex de Minaur (6 ATP), and Serbian Novak Djokovic (7). The latter is the only one of the three to have won the tournament, with triumphs in 2016 and 2017.

With Nole eliminated after his unexpected first-round loss to Matteo Berrettini, this seems the perfect opportunity for Alcaraz, de Minaur, or Andrey Rublev to join the ranks of the legends.

Who has won the Doha Open?

Federer is the most successful, with three championships in 2005, 2006, and 2011. Murray, however, has played in five finals, with victories in 2008 and 2009. Meanwhile, Edberg, Federer, Murray, and Djokovic have all won back-to-back titles.
