One of the unknowns prior to the fight between Terence Crawford and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez is the physical condition in which the Mexican boxer’s opponent will arrive.

Las Vegas will be the setting for this highly anticipated duel and for this, Terence had to gain weight to move up two divisions and thus be able to be in the ring at the Allegiant Stadium on September 13. The boxer had to go from 154 pounds to 168.

How has the preparation of Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford been for the fight in Las Vegas?

In recent weeks, each of the boxers has been showing their preparation on social media and even Canelo Alvarez has taken time to have free time like the one he took with his wife for the birth of his fifth daughter and the second with Fernanda Gomez, as well as a modeling session for photographs with a luxury clothing brand.

While Terence has already shown off on social media the physique he has worked on to confront the Mexican

The American is “a mountain of muscle” which seems to augur a powerful battle and even the possibility of complicating the fight for Alvarez and why not, even emerge victorious despite the favoritism that exists over the Mexican.

Terence Crawford “will be a boxer capable of hurting” Canelo

It is worth noting that days ago, Jacqui “Red” Spikes, Crawford’s trainer, sent a warning to Canelo. The message was that Saul Alvarez will have in front of him a boxer capable of hurting him, not weak, as it was thought that could happen when the fight was just being cooked

“One thing’s for sure, Canelo is going to feel his power, he’s going to respect Bud Crawford, he’s not just going to be able to just walk in and do what he thinks. Bud is a very strong fighter, he’s a very good fighter and intelligence will be key. It’s a mental game,” he told Fighthype.
