Could Mike Tyson beat a gorilla in a fight? AI makes a dire prediction

The legendary Mike Tyson, known for his ferocity in the ring and his life full of excesses and incredible anecdotes, stars in a story as unusual as it is terrifying: on one occasion, he offered $10,000 to a zookeeper to allow him to face a silverback gorilla. The reason? The animal, according to Tyson, was intimidating others, and he wanted to intervene. Fortunately, the confrontation never happened.

However, with the rise of viral debates on social media about whether a group of humans could defeat a gorilla, the question resurfaced: what would have happened ifTyson had actually faced one of these powerful primates? To answer this, an advanced artificial intelligence was consulted.

The AI began by recognizing Tyson’s extraordinary skills: his punching power, speed and strategic mindset made him a boxing legend. There is no doubt that his fighting instinct and mental toughness are elite. But when compared to a gorilla, the human advantage quickly disappears.

AI predicts an uneven fight between Tyson and a gorilla

An adult gorilla can weigh over 180 kg and is four to nine times stronger than the average human. It has a bite of up to 1300 PSI, enough to crush bones with ease. In addition, it has fangs, a more resistant bone structure and much thicker skin than humans.

According to AI, without rules or protection, the fight would be absolutely unequal. “The gorilla would throw Tyson around like a rag doll,” the analysis states. Even Tyson himself admitted on Bill Maher’s Hotboxin’ podcast that the gorilla would have killed him if such a scenario were real.

Although the story adds another chapter to the wild legend of the former champion, it also serves as a reminder of the limits of the human body in the face of the brute force of nature. In this hypothetical scenario, not even the most feared boxer in history would have a chance of victory.
