American golfer Cameron Young has quickly become one of the most recognizable rising talents on the PGA Tour. After several strong finishes and his first tour victory in 2025, Young has built an impressive financial profile through tournament prize money and sponsorship deals.

Here’s a closer look at Cameron Young’s net worth and how the golfer has earned his fortune.

Cameron Young’s net worth

Cameron Young’s net worth is estimated to be around $17 million to $18 million, according to various sports finance reports. Most of that wealth comes from prize money earned on the PGA Tour since he turned professional.

Although he has yet to reach the financial level of some of golf’s biggest superstars, Young’s rapid rise in the sport has allowed him to accumulate millions in just a few seasons.

Career earnings on the PGA Tour

Young has earned more than $32 million in career prize money across official tournaments, majors, and bonuses.

His earnings include:

  • Over $27 million from PGA Tour events
  • More than $5 million from major championships

Additional bonuses from programs such as the Player Impact Program and Tour incentives.

Young’s strong rookie season in 2022 was particularly notable. Despite not winning a tournament that year, he still earned more than $6.5 million, which set the record for the highest earnings by a rookie in a PGA Tour season.

A breakthrough victory boosted his earnings

Young’s financial trajectory accelerated in 2025 when he captured his first PGA Tour victory at the Wyndham Championship, earning roughly $1.48 million for the win.

The victory came after several close calls earlier in his career, including multiple runner-up finishes and strong performances in major championships.

Consistent top finishes have also helped him earn sizable payouts in tournaments such as The Open Championship, where he finished runner-up in 2022, and other high-profile PGA Tour events.

In March 2026, he won the biggest purse of his entire career by taking down the Players Championship, for which he won $4,500,000.

Analysts expect Young’s net worth to continue climbing in the coming years.
