It would be hyperbole to call 2026 a make-or-break season for Caitlin Clark given that her WNBA future is as bright as any other player, but the Indiana Fever star is surely placing as much pressue on herself as ever.
An injury-riddled 2025 season dampened her upwards trajectory, while the Fever made the semifinals of the WNBA Playoffs without her. Clark wants to get back to being her dominant self, and this is the year to do it as she’s taken plenty of experience from her first two professional seasons. But if early footage from Fever practices is anything to take seriously, Clark is approaching this season as loose as possible.

The Fever social media team posted various clips of Clark “bloopers” from the second day of the team’s practices in the lead-up to the regular season. Fans were absolutely loving the behind-the-scenes look at the franchise’s superstar.
Clark showcased her personality in various ways. From flashing a vicious side-eye to the camera, to awkwardly waving at the camera, to making generally weird gestures, fans were cracking up at the bloopers.
Everyone wants to see this side of Clark much more going forward.
