The world of social media had a particular moment when Bruno Fernandes’ X account started writing nonsense messages and even Cristiano Ronaldo stepped in, generating a lot of laughs among the fans who follow the Manchester United midfielder.
A group of hackers broke into Bruno’s account and although it was all about a cryptocurrency scam, in the end they just threw messages and made people laugh. However, Manchester United sent a strong message about it.
Bruno Fernandes’ messages on X after being hacked
The Portuguese midfielder, who had not been active on the social network since October, became a trend not because of his performance on the pitch, but because of the unusual flurry of messages that appeared on his profile.
The hackers took advantage of the vulnerability to lash out at the club’s current management, specifically the INEOS co-owners, and to mock the sporting situation of the Red Devils.
Some of the most viral messages included:
- Direct criticism of the board with phrases calling for the departure of INEOS.
- Posts that recalled painful defeats, such as an image of the historic 7-0 defeat at Anfield against Liverpool.
- Comments on the current situation of the team, stating that Manchester United is “in misery”.
Bruno Fernandes also sends message to Cristiano Ronaldo on X
One of the most talked-about moments of the intrusion was when the attackers turned their attention to Cristiano Ronaldo. In an unexpected and hilarious twist for some netizens, Fernandes’ account posted messages about the Al-Nassr star using the colloquial English term “packing”, alluding to personal issues of the player in a provocative way.
In addition to Ronaldo, the hackers interacted with other personalities and entities, sending messages to the England national cricket team and publicly challenging young darts talent Luke Littler to a game of FIFA.
