Seydou Dembele, a highly-rated 18-year-old attacking midfielder from Mali who was on the verge of joining Chelsea, may have changed his mind to finally sign for Barcelona.‘Africafoot’ reports that the current Jean Marc Guillou Academy de Bamako player will sign for Barca and “the player is expected to arrive in Spain in the coming days to sign his contract with the Catalan club”.

Chelsea were willing to pay 1.5 million euros for the young Seydou Dembele, who was also on the radar of Red Bull Salzburg (a team associated with JMG Academy) and Fenerbahce
