Anthony Joshua is one of the biggest names in modern boxing. With a rare combination of size, power and technique, the British fighter established himself for years as one of the leading heavyweight figures worldwide. Now that Anthony Joshua will fight Jake Paul, there is great excitement among boxing fans.

Since he appeared in the professional ranks after winning the gold medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games, “AJ” has been synonymous with spectacle, world titles and great events in venues such as Wembley. Below, we take a look at Anthony Joshua’s height, as well as his weight and the most relevant statistics of his career.

Anthony Joshua’s height and weight

Anthony Joshua has an official height of 1.98 meters, which allows him to dominate many of his opponents from a distance and take advantage of his powerful jab. That is why AJ stands out physically even within the heavyweight category. In addition, Anthony Joshua has a reach of 2.08 meters, a key advantage in his orthodox boxing style.

In terms of weight, Anthony Joshua usually competes at around 115 kilograms(252 pounds), although this has varied slightly depending on strategy and opponent. Anthony Joshua’s combination of height, weight and reach make him an imposing boxer, capable of imposing conditions both in short exchanges and at long range.

Anthony Joshua’s record

Anthony Joshua’s record is 32 fights with 28 wins, 25 of them by knockout, and four defeats, with no draws. AJ’s high KO percentage confirms his reputation as one of the most feared punchers in modern boxing.

Throughout his career, Anthony Joshua was a world champion in multiple organizations, including the IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO, achieving unified heavyweight champion status on two occasions. Among his most notable victories are triumphs over Wladimir Klitschko, Joseph Parker, Andy Ruiz Jr. (in the rematch) and most recently Francis Ngannou, whom he knocked out in 2024.

Who has beaten Anthony Joshua?

Anthony Joshua has also faced defeats that have marked his career. The first setback came in 2019 against Andy Ruiz Jr, who defeated him by technical knockout in one of the biggest upsets in recent boxing history.

The Briton was then defeated twice in a row by Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and 2022. These defeats cost Joshua his world titles and forced him to rethink his future in the elite of boxing.
