Alcaraz keeps his promise and gets a kangaroo tattoo on his left leg

Carlos Alcaraz always keeps his promises and the latest one was to immortalise a kangaroo, the symbol of Australia, after winning the Antipodean Grand Slam on 1 February. Said and done. The world number one already has the new tattoo on the lower part of his left leg, which is barely visible with his socks on. “I like them discreet,” he says.

The kangaroo joins the date of his first US Open win, the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge for his second title in New York, the Eiffel Tower for Roland Garros, and the strawberries of Wimbledon, along with the date of his triumph. Not forgetting his grandfather’s motto (head, heart and balls) by engraving the three Cs on his skin.
