With the Milwaukee Bucks eliminated in the group stage, the NBA Cup is anyone’s game. Now that last year’s champion is out of the competition, fans are eager to see which of the remaining teams has what it takes to advance past the quarterfinals, which begin this week.

The end of the group stage left the NBA Cup with a handful of teams that were favorites from the start, combined with others that had been pleasant surprises at the beginning of the regular season.

Now, the remaining contenders will face off in four exciting matchups to determine who will advance to the semifinals, taking them one step closer to the coveted crown.

What are the NBA Cup quarterfinal matchups?

The six group winners from the preliminary round advanced to the quarterfinals along with two wild cards. The round will be played in a single-elimination format.

In the West, the Oklahoma City Thunder, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, finished as the top seed in Group A. In the quarterfinals, they will face the Western Conference wild card, the Phoenix Suns.

The Los Angeles Lakers, led by Luka Doncic and LeBron James, topped Group B. This earned them the right to face the San Antonio Spurs, who topped Group C, eliminating the Denver Nuggets.

In the East, the New York Knicks topped Group C, eliminating the Bucks and setting up a matchup against the Toronto Raptors. Finally, the Orlando Magic, the top seed in Group B, will face the conference’s wild card, the Miami Heat.
