Venus Williams, the seven-time Grand Slam champion and former world No. 1, has officially married her long-time partner, Italian actor and producer Andrea Preti, in a series of celebrations that spanned continents and cultures.
The couple first exchanged vows in Italy and later marked the milestone with an extended wedding celebration in Palm Beach, Florida.
Their initial wedding in Italy took place on the picturesque island of Ischia back in September. The ceremony blended romance and tradition, with personal vows shared in both English and Italian and moments of heartfelt emotion that reflected the couple’s unique bond.
Because of bureaucratic challenges encountered by international couples, Williams and Preti followed up their Italian nuptials with a second wedding ceremony in Palm Beach. That event formed part of a five-day celebration planned by JZ Events, the same company behind Serena Williams‘ 2017 wedding.

Festivities included a yacht party gifted by Venus’ younger sisterSerena, as well as dinners, games and activities, and a courthouse ceremony.
“Serena gave us this gift of a beautiful yacht, and she arranged all the food, everything,” Williams told Vogue.
“We had 10 to 12 of our closest family and friends who were in town on the boat, and we were singing, dancing, gossiping, and just enjoying each other.”
The Florida celebration was filled with personal touches and joyful moments. On the yacht, guests enjoyed food and music while singing and dancing, celebrating not just the marriage, but the coming together of family and friends. The week continued with a bridal shower in the couple’s backyard, an Asian fusion dinner, and group sporting activities that showed a lively and communal spirit among attendees.
In a published interview, Williams reflected that weddings often feel like they go by too quickly, saying the courthouse ceremony was “just a dream” and deeply meaningful. Meanwhile, Preti called his Italian wedding the greatest day of his life, highlighting how special both celebrations were to him and his bride.
