Tyson Fury fills Jake Paul’s head with crazy ideas ahead of Anthony Joshua fight

It’s not official yet, but it’s looking increasingly likely that Jake Paul will fight Anthony Joshua this December. Paul moved on from Gervonta Davis following Tank’s legal troubles and he has somehow secured a mega-fight against AJ, who is bigger and stronger than him in every respect.

It’s an extremely dangerous fight for Paul, given the size difference, experience edge and power that Joshua has. No one is giving Paul a chance. Heavyweight veteran Derek Chisora came out to say he thinks Paul could leave the event in an ambulance. There is one notable boxer who thinks Paul could pull it off. Surprisingly, it’s Tyson Fury.

Tyson Fury says Jake Paul will knock out “spent” Anthony Joshua

Back in July, Fury did an interview with Ring Magazine where he was asked about a potential Paul vs. Joshua bout. Shockingly, Fury came out to say that Paul would knock out AJ.

I don’t know about tune-up, I think Jake Paul knocks him out. I just think Jake Paul would knock AJ out. I think AJ’s a spent force and Jake Paul’s on the rise and I like his new heavyweight look: a bit chubby and a bit bulky.

The caveat here is that Fury was trading verbal jabs with Joshua at the time, which has continued until this day. Fury doesn’t like Joshua, and vice-versa. So Fury may have just made that comment in order to rile AJ up.

Whether Fury actually believes Paul can knock out Joshua, we might never know. But if Paul actually were to pull it off, Fury can claim to be a genius.
