They argue that Real Madrid misdiagnosed Kylian Mbappé’s knee injury

Dr. Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet, a specialist in knee injuries, receives a call from Dr. Mihic, a doctor who has returned to the club’s medical services this season. “I want to know your opinion about an injury to Mbappe, but it is not new,” he says. This is how Mbappe’s adventure begins to finally find a solution to his knee problems, as MARCA revealed at the time. The doctor who treated Benzema at Real Madrid and who has operated on players such as Ibrahimovic and Diakhaby visits the Real Madrid striker. He gives him his diagnosis and sets him a plan for rehabilitation that has worked.Mbappe confirmed yesterday in Paris, before traveling to the United States with his national team, this process, in statements that also have their substance. “I was lucky that I was given the right diagnosis when I went to Paris, and together we were able to chart the best plan to get back to my best and be fit at the end of the season with Real Madrid and in the World Cup. The diagnosis was given to me on a specific date that I cannot reveal now. But everything that had been said before was completely false. I didn’t go through that stage in the best possible way; I wasn’t exactly the happiest player in the world,” commented Kylian.

It is true that Mbappe showed his anger in Madrid during that time when the striker played with discomfort even though he did not seem to have anything wrong with his knee. And on this subject, journalist Daniel Riolo of RMC gave more than surprising details about the reason why Kylian was not experiencing improvement.

“It is clear that there was a mistake if the player decided to travel to Paris. I would say that it is because the diagnosis that was made to Mbappe in the knee was so catastrophic, and certainly worse than catastrophic, because it was a mistake of great gravity. And that’s why they fired everyone, in addition to the streak of injuries, but largely because of that,” says the journalist

“It could have been very serious because of a mistake. Because Mbappe has spent time without knowing what he had, playing games… He could have broken his knee. He continues his activity and sees that it still hurts, but sees that something is wrong. I’ll tell you one thing. The mistake was huge, and they examined the other knee. Do you think I’m talking nonsense? That’s what happened. You understand that if you’re playing with an injury and you don’t know it, you can hurt yourself a lot,” Riolo concludes.

He wants to play against Brazil

On the other hand, Madrid already knows and agrees that Mbappe will have minutes with France. There are two games, but everything indicates that Kylian will not miss the first one, as it is against Vinicius’ Brazil this Thursday. With Madrid, he has not yet started, he had minutes in the second half against City at the Etihad and also in the second half against Atletico. And the test was more than satisfactory.
