This weekend, the Ryder Cup will take center stage, bringing together the best golfers from Europe and the United States. The prestigious tournament will be held at the iconic Bethpage Black course on Long Island, just 45 miles from New York City.

While the event itself promises thrilling competition, the spotlight won’t shine solely on the players. Alongside the world-class golfers will be their wives, girlfriends, and families, who are expected to captivate just as much attention as the action on the greens. The partners of stars like Rory McIlroy and Luke Donald will be there, offering their support while also showcasing style and elegance throughout the tournament.

Similarly, the wives, girlfriends, mothers, and friends of Team USA will make their presence felt, adding glamour and excitement to one of golf’s most celebrated events.

Meredith Scudder, wife of Scottie Scheffler

Meredith and Scottie Scheffler have been together since high school, building a relationship that has stood the test of time and distance. Throughout Scheffler’s rise in the PGA Tour, Meredith has been his unwavering support system, present at nearly every major milestone in his career.

Currently ranked as the world’s number one golfer, Scheffler continues to dominate tournament after tournament, proving that his top ranking is backed by undeniable skill and determination.

Their joy reached new heights with the arrival of their son, Bennett, who has brought even greater motivation for Scheffler as he prepares to compete in the Ryder Cup.

Though the couple briefly separated while attending different universities, love ultimately prevailed. They married in December 2020, and Meredith has remained by his side ever since, often considered his good luck charm.

Teil Duncan, wife of Russell Henley

Russell Henley and Teil Duncan’s love story defied expectations. Henley played golf at the University of Georgia, while Duncan attended Auburn University, two schools known for their fierce rivalry. However, their paths crossed at Duncan’s sister’s wedding, where sparks flew.

Their relationship quickly blossomed, and just 10 months later, Henley proposed. Teil, a well-known visual artist, has built a strong following on Instagram, where her vibrant and creative artwork often garners more attention than her husband’s posts.

Maya Lowe, wife of Xander Schauffele

Maya and Xander met while attending San Diego State University. At the time, Maya knew little about golf, but over the years, she has become her husband’s biggest supporter, traveling with him to as many tournaments as possible.

Previously working in the healthcare sector, Maya now dedicates her time to the Schauffele Foundation, which focuses on helping young golfers, environmental protection, and promoting sustainable practices.

Jillian Wisniewski, wife of Justin Thomas

Veteran Team USA member Justin Thomas, at just 32 years old, will have his wife Jillian by his side during the Ryder Cup. Jillian, who works for an advertising agency in Chicago, welcomed the couple’s first child, Molly Grace, in 2024.

These women represent only a few of the dedicated partners who will be present, offering support and encouragement as Team USA looks to reclaim the Ryder Cup crown from Team Europe.
