The Uruguayan is going through sweet days on and off the pitch. Even after his sending off in the derby against Atletico, he did not lose his smile. He swapped his boots for a paddle and played in Madrid against Trent Alexander-Arnold and Brahim Diaz.
The score did not come to light, but Valverde left clues. “Next to see the winning team,” he wrote in his Instagram stories alongside a photo with Vinicius. The message was direct: the Brazilian-Uruguayan duo had secured victory.
