The NFL’s Thanksgiving Day tradition is not just an event focused on football. As the Super Bowl, this event also showcases a major music show during the game. For 2025, there will be three games to be played on Thanksgiving, and each will feature a headline artist, in another attempt of bringing together sport, holiday spirit, and live performances.

In those three games, different artists of different worlds will perform. Each one of them will represent something that links them to the local team, reviving the ownership feeling for fans and spectators alike

What artists are performing?

The confirmed halftime performers for Thursday, November 27, 2025, are:

Dallas Cowboys vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Rapper Post Malone will take the stage in Texas. He is performing as part of the Cowboys’ annual Red Kettle Kickoff, a longtime Thanksgiving tradition tied to the Salvation Army.

Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers

The one and only Jack White, a Detroit native and co-founder of The White Stripes, will perform at Ford Field. According to the Lions, the show is being executive-produced by Detroit native Eminem and his long-time manager Paul Rosenberg.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Rapper and DJ Lil Jon is set to entertain fans during the evening game. His presence at the Ravens-Bengals game promises a lively, hip-hop-inflected halftime show

The other side of the event

Thanksgiving Day halftime shows will bring more than just big names and spectacle. For many watchers, they are a chance to experience live music while watching football with friends and family. These performances will create communal moments, while fans plan to celebrate touchdowns from the favourite players, they also will enjoy music performances that will gather both industries in a broader cultural landscape.

This year’s lineup, including a Texas superstar, a Detroit hometown legend, and a hip-hop figure, the show expects to capture the diversity of music and regional pride that has come to define the Thanksgiving Day showcase for the NFL.
