Shohei Ohtani perfects his pitching technique to return to the mound

Everyone in Major League Baseball is waiting for the moment when Shohei Ohtani steps on the mound and shows what he can do as a pitcher, which has made him a phenomenon that has charmed both locals and strangers in professional baseball in the United States.

Constant improvement, Ohtani’s mantra

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced that the Japanese player will finally show his other side, the other of the famous ‘two ways’ by standing in front of the rivals from the mound, so he is already preparing in the training camp of the Angelenos to offer the best of his repertoire.

Ohtani already showed the Dodgers what he is capable of with the bat, now it is time to do it by throwing the 108 seams, but for this he is preparing in a special way after his elbow surgery, expanding his range and improving his pitching technique with a different mechanics that allows him to grow and evolve in this facet, which is so expected and that has generated so much expectation in his new team.

And although his debut on the Dodgers’ mound is not imminent, as Dave Roberts has already said that he will not pitch in the opening series in Tokyo – as Roki Sasaki will – Ohtani wants to be more than ready and makes it clear in his training sessions and in his statements to the press: “I want to explore different paths to see if I can grow as a player,” Ohtani said, and this excites more than one.
