The storm of boos and insults that was feared at Bethpage towards the European team was reduced to a drizzle. There were only a few difficult moments for the European players who were taken out of position by some out-of-place noise in the afternoon matches, but in general the public behaved with a certain etiquette, focusing only on cheering Keegan Bradley’s troops, while noisy European fans did the same with their own, especially with the famous “ole, ole, ole….”
