He is Roger Federer, one of the best tennis players in history, who is declared as a fan of Messi and in a recent interview wished the Argentine good luck for the next World Cup.

Roger Federer’s prediction about Leo Messi

Roger Federer is a tennis legend, but even so, he has always been very humble. The Swiss was full of praise for Messi and even recalled the time he met him. “I only saw him once and met his parents in Tigre, when I played against Juan Martin del Potro. I don’t know Leo very well as a person to be honest. It’s hard to compare us, he did great things in football, I’m a big fan of him.”

In addition, Roger confessed that he was very happy when Messi won the 2022 World Cup, as it was something he deserved a long time ago

How he dominated and changed the game is incredible. I’m glad he already won a World Cup and he’s not going to have pressure in the next one, although it’s always a great pressure to play in a World Cup. I’ll be following him
