Over the years, the NFL has turned the upcoming season’s schedule as a way to build up immense hype among fans. What was once just a set date when the full schedule would be released has now turned into a dragged-out process with specific games being filtered out.
But on Thursday night, the league officially released the entire schedule. As has become tradition, teams around the league prepared in advance of the release with humorous videos. Last year, it was the Tennessee Titans who took the crown for best schedule release video. Did they hold on to their throne in 2026?
They just about did, as they crushed it yet again. The social media team took to the streets of Nashville to find doppelgangers of players and coaches of teams they’re set to play against this season.

The New England Patriots took an interesting approach, putting their players on a rollercoaster and capturing their emotions throughout the ride. The Cleveland Browns went retro with theirs. The Las Vegas Raiders turned Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza into “Step Brothers“.
But it was the Los Angeles Chargers who captured the hearts of everyone. The Chargers put together a montage of clips from the beloved video game, Halo. With vintage references and funny call-outs of their upcoming opponents, the video went viral on social media.
Fans were absolutely loving the video, and rightfully so. It’s that type of creativity that the NFL loves to see, which in turn helps put more eyes on the league.
