Almost two months after winning the Africa Cup of Nations, Senegal’s players were confronted on Tuesday night with CAF’s decision to disqualify their team and award the title to Morocco. And they were not happy about it.

One of the first to react was Pathe Ciss, Rayo Vallecano midfielder, who posted several photos on social media posing with the medal and the Africa Cup of Nations title and a forceful message: “You can give three more goals to the crybabies”.

Ciss refers to the final score that CAF has awarded to the final, a 3-0 in favor of Morocco, which the Senegalese midfielder mocks.

Senegal laughs at the decision

Habib Diarra, Senegalese midfielder forSunderland, also reacted to the CAF’s decision by posting pictures of himself with the trophy accompanied by many laughing emojis. Diarra also posted some videos of Senegal’s party in his country to celebrate the title, which makes it clear that for the Senegalese players the title is still theirs.

Both the official accounts of the Senegal national team and the Senegalese Federation have also posted videos of the celebration in the streets of the country of the Africa Cup of Nations, a clear message to CAF.
