The New York Yankees might be committing one of their biggest blunders – one that could go down as the greatest waste of talent in Major League Baseball (MLB) history. Aaron Judge is, as of today, one of the two most dominant players in MLB, alongside Shohei Ohtani – but unlike the Japanese superstar, he hasn’t won a World Series.

MLB expert warns Yankees about Aaron Judge: They are wasting his prime years

Without question, Judge is the face of the Yankees. He’s coming off his second MVP season, hitting .331 with 179 hits, 53 home runs, and 114 RBI – even while dealing with injuries.

But at 33 years old, many are starting to wonder if Aaron Judge’s talent is being squandered by the Yankees franchise – and there’s even a warning about it.

Is Time Running Out for Aaron Judge?

The truth is, he won’t be at this level forever. According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the New York Yankees are making a serious mistake by relying too heavily on their superstar player and failing to build a proper MLB championship team around him.

“I expect they’re going to do things, but at some point you have to see it,” Rosenthal said.

The Yankees are coming off a painful ALDS elimination and are still searching for maximum reinforcements to chase their first World Series title since 2009. The big question is whether they’re doing enough to assemble a true MLB contender – and if Aaron Judge will be able to lead the New York Yankees back to the top. He can’t live forever off long home runs and MVP awards.
