The atmosphere at the Los Angeles Dodgers seems to be the best at the moment. The team is coming off a World Series win and is starting a new season with great signings, a lot of excitement and, most importantly, the best of spirits.
Jokes abound in the Dodgers’ locker room, and Miguel Rojas, who cemented himself as a heroic figure after Game 7 of the 2025 World Series, has set social media alight by pointing to Blake Snell as the team’s weakest link.

During a question and answer session organized by the club’s social media team, it was asked who would be able to complete the fewest push-ups in the entire squad. Rojas did not hesitate for a second to give his verdict.
Snell is the weakest player in the camp
Rojas confidently stated that Snell is undoubtedly “the weakest guy in camp.” Although the Venezuelan acknowledged that Snell possesses great athletic ability, he maintained his stance on the left-hander’s lack of physical strength.
Faced with the controversy, Rojas tried to explain that his comment originated after a previous talk about the “grip strength” of the players and that clearly everything is in a joking tone.
Blake Snell’s response to Miguel Rojas’ taunt
Far from keeping quiet, Blake Snell took to the comments section on Instagram to defend himself, calling the “weakest” tag crazy. While the pitcher humorously admitted that his grip strength is probably among the five worst on the team, he assured that he is not the last when it comes to push-ups.
Under pressure from Snell, Rojas decided to change his answer to “sacrifice” another fellow pitcher. Laughing, he apologized to Snell and suggested that Japanese phenom Roki Sasaki is the one he could really beat in a strength competition.
While Snell and Rojas exchanged jokes, the locker room also reached a consensus on who rules the gym. The names of Mookie Betts and Ha-seong Kim were the most mentioned by the players as the physical powerhouses within the current champions, so there is plenty of power to conquer a new World Series.
