Vacation time for Lionel Messi and company is over as the Argentine returned to training with theMLS champions and shared his return on the social network Instagram.
The Argentine star, world champion in Qatar 2022, uploaded several photos of his return to Miami and, among all of them, highlighted a video of his son Mateo Messi, who was seen very proud and happy with the colors of Barcelona.

In a video that quickly went viral among fans of Argentina’s number 10, he appears alongside his children Thiago, Mateo and Ciro, where Mateo was the one who stood out the most for the clothing he was wearing, and that is that this was a jacket of Barcelona, showing once again that Messi and his family left Barcelona, but there is not a second in which they forget the club of their loves.
In another of the images shared by Messi, Mateo Messi is seen sitting on the bench, laughing with his father and Rodrigo de Paul. Antonella Roccuzzo reacted to the post with three red hearts.
Messi returns to Inter Miami for pre-season
Messi will play an official match again this Saturday, January 24, when Inter Miami visits Alianza Lima in the Peruvian capital. The match will be played at the Alejandro Villanueva stadium, where the Argentine’s presence has caused all tickets for the duel to be sold out.
Messi, in the company of De Paul and Luis Suarez, will begin a pre-season tour that includes a visit to Peru and will continue with matches in Colombia and Ecuador. They are hoping to get into the rhythm of things and obtain good results in these friendly matches with a view to repeating the feat of becoming MLS champions again, as well as obtaining their ticket to the Club World Cup, by coming out as Concacaf Champions Cup winners.
The team will be joined next season by Mexican Argentine German Berterame in a deal worth $15 million. For a week now, the name of German Berterame has been mentioned as a reinforcement for Inter Miami and although at first these rumors were denied, Domenec Torrent, current coach of Rayados de Monterrey of Liga MX, hinted that there was an interest, which was made official.
