Leo Messi’s son plays in Inter Miami‘s academy and has dazzled with the great level he has, so much so that the official account recently uploaded a video on social media of a great goal scored by the 9-year-old.

While Lionel Messi continues to break records with Inter Miami, his children are proving that magic runs in the family, with both Thiago and Mateo starring in the MLS team’s youth academy series and fans already dreaming of seeing a new Messi shine in professional soccer.

Social media went wild after seeing the goal scored by Mateo Messi while playing in Inter Miami’s academy. The 9-year-old earned praise after shining on the pitch, where his father must be the proudest of all.

Mateo has dazzled with his intelligence on the field and his ability to solve plays in complicated contexts. Messi’s son is shining and in Miami they hope he will continue to improve more and more.

Inter Miami’s academy posted Mateo’s goal on its social networks, where he was compared to Lionel Messi and people said that he has more than inherited the talent. However, the family does not put pressure on him, as Messi only wants his children to be happy.

Leo Messi talks about the characteristics of his children as players

Comparisons between Messi’s children and their father will always be there, it is something they will have to live with, however, the Inter Miami player himself has spoken about the characteristics of his children on the field.

Thiago is more thoughtful, more organized, more of a midfielder. Mateo is more of a forward, he likes to score goals and be close to the goal, he is intelligent to play. Ciro is more explosive, more one-on-one. More of making his own play

Leo Messi

Fans will continue to compare the children to their father, but the truth is that each child shines with their own light and both Leo and Antonela just want them to have fun and do whatever they want.
