Inter Miami’s tour of South America is just beginning and has already generated great iconic moments. The first stop for Messi and company was in Peru, where they played a friendly match against Alianza Lima and before the match, one of the most celebrated was the renowned Peruvian commentator, Pol Deportes, who was able to receive a gift from Lionel Messi.

Pol Deportes has been present at major football events since he became known in the Copa Libertadores final. The young commentator has fulfilled several dreams, but he was missing the most important one: to meet Leo Messi.

Before the match between Alianza Lima and Inter Miami, the MLS team players passed through the entrance of the stadium to sign autographs and greet the people, however, among the crowd was a special character.

Pol Deportes was waiting for the players to enter and got what every soccer fan dreams of, a signature from Lionel Messi. The Argentine stopped to interact with the young fan and the image went viral on social media.

“Thank you, Leo, for this very special moment for me. Thank you for this dream come true,” said Pol Deportes, who could not contain his excitement at meeting the best soccer player in the world.

The excitement of having Lionel Messi in Peru was so great that it not only thrilled the fans, but also the players, where an Alianza Lima footballer was reduced to tears after swapping shirts with the Argentine striker.

This is Alan Cantero, who admitted to being a fan of Messi, has a tattoo of the number 10 and asked him to change shirts after the match. Messi agreed and gave him a memory that will mark his whole life.

“I was deeply moved, sincerely. When the match was over, I greeted him; it was something I had wanted to do for a long time,” Cantero commented, whose image also went around the world about what Lionel Messi’s figure can generate.
