As the most recognizable name in all of basketball, LeBron James has had no shortage of partnership deals over the course of his career. It’s difficult to list all of them, as there’s been so many, but the two that truly stick out are Nike and Beats by Dre.
Now, all three are teaming up for an epic collaboration. Beats by Dre revealed a special edition colorway of their successful Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds, which will feature Nike branding and a black and volt colorway that has become synonymous with Nike sports products. James helped for the launch of the earbuds.

James has been much more active in the golf scene towards the tail end of his NBA career. Using his newfound love for golf, Beats put together a two-minute advertisement featuring James on the golf course.
While hitting the ball all over the course, both in good and bad directions, James uses the earbuds to cancel out external noise and focus on the task at hand. The tag line then rolls at the end of the video: “Keep Your Head in the Game“.
The earbuds will come in a sleek case design that has a black base and features a speckled pattern on the outside. On the inside of the case, Nike’s trademark slogan is seen: “Just Do It.”
The special edition earbuds will release on Apple’s website and select Apple stores on Friday, March 20 at 9am PT / 12pm ET. They will cost $249.99, the same price as the regular Powerbeats Pro 2. Expect other retailers to follow shortly after.
