It takes a brave man to compare Kevin Garnett to Babe Ruth. If there’s one person bold enough to do it, it’s Alex Rodriguez. The former Yankees player and current co-owner of the NBA’s Timberwolves confidently equated the weight of the New York baseball great’s image with what ‘The Big Ticket’ did in Minnesota.

Something that was unthinkable five years ago was achieved: to create the bond of its former star with everything the Timberwolves represent.the rift between Garnett and the Timberwolves dates back to his 2007 trade to the Boston Celtics and widened after his retirement in 2016.Rodriguez commented that he was impressed with the love Minnesota fans have for Garnett despite the years and the breakup.Rodriguez, in his capacity as majority owner, was instrumental in getting the former team figure to forget the resentment and accept the position of ambassador.

but nothing tumultuous or long-lasting.It was in 1935 when the New York franchise thanked its greatest legend after Ruth asked them for a managerial and sporting position to continue in the organization.
