Kaká picks traits from Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldinho to create his Ideal Player

Having shared his professional career with other stars is a privilege that Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite- better known as Kaká– has enjoyed. The Brazilian star shared the field with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, and with Ronaldinho at AC Milan and on the Brazilian national team, to name a few.

This gave him an advantage when assembling his ideal player using qualities from his former teammates.

Kaká assembled his ideal player based on CR7, Ronaldinho, and more

Kaká began his career at São Paulo FC, but reached his peak at AC Milan, where he won the Champions League and the Club World Cup. He also played for Real Madrid CF and ended his career with Orlando City SC of the MLS in 2017. With the Brazil national team, he was crowned world champion at age 20 at the 2002 World Cup in Korea/Japan.

Having played for all these teams, the Brazilian star shared locker rooms with great players whom he didn’t hesitate to highlight in a recent interview.

The Brazilian participated in an MVPS quiz where he had to choose one of his former teammates to create the ideal player based on various characteristics they were asked about:

Shooting? Roberto Carlos. Weak foot? I think Rivaldo. Strength? Gattuso. Heading? I think it was Shevchenko. Flair? Ronaldinho. Vision? Andrea Pirlo. Mentality? Cristiano Ronaldo.

This sparked a reaction from soccer fans, and while many agreed with his choices, others proposed different candidates and ideas:

“Mentality 100% Zidane,” said one. “Maldini should have been strength,” commented another. “Cristiano is all in one,” asserted a third user.

The truth is that it’s no surprise CR7 was chosen for his mentality, as he and Kaká shared 99 games and 21 goals at Real Madrid, where Kaká also saw him work hard and dedicate himself to achieving peak performance.

Another choice that came as no surprise was Ronaldinho, with whom he formed one of the most fearsome forward duos on the Brazilian national team at the 2006 World Cup and played alongside for a season (2008-09) at AC Milan.

Meanwhile, Kaká’s comments not only reignite the eternal debate among soccer’s greats but also put into perspective the magnitude of talent with which he shared the field throughout his career.
