Josh Allen immediately sent a message that intimidated Bo Nix; the Bills’ quarterback is determined

There is no doubt that the team most pressured to reach the Super Bowl since the start of the season is the Buffalo Bills, who along with the Baltimore Ravens were favorites to represent the AFC. The situation is complicated for the Bills, because anything short of reaching the NFL’s biggest game would be considered a complete failure.

In addition, the Bills-and especially Josh Allen-are under more pressure than ever, now that players like Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, and Lamar Jackson are not in the playoffs. Mahomes’ case stands out the most, as he has never lost to Josh Allen in January and holds a 4-0 record. His most recent win over the Bills’ quarterback came in last season’s AFC Championship Game.

The Bills started the playoffs on a positive note, earning their first road playoff victory since 1993. They did it against the Jacksonville Jaguars, AFC South champions who entered the game on an eight-game winning streak. Even so, they could not overcome a Josh Allen who was outstanding in the decisive moments.

Josh Allen and the Bills will visit the Denver Broncos

Now, the Bills got past a tough checkpoint in Jacksonville, and their reward is a road matchup against the AFC’s No. 1 seed, the Denver Broncos, who finished the season 14-3. The two teams faced each other in the playoffs last year, and Josh Allen dominated Bo Nix and company. This time it will be on the road, but with the same objective.

In fact, the Bills are 1.5-point favorites in betting markets, which is no surprise considering Josh Allen’s impressive recent playoff numbers. In his last seven playoff games, the Bills’ quarterback has thrown 19 touchdown passes with only one interception. If there is anyone who deserves to reach the Super Bowl, it is Josh Allen.

If Josh Allen manages to lead the Buffalo Bills to the Super Bowl, the path would be entirely on the road: they already defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars, now they visit the Denver Broncos, and if they win, they will play the AFC Championship Game as visitors in either Houston or New England.

Josh Allen did not enter the playoffs as the king of the AFC. In fact, for the first time in five years, the Bills lost the AFC East division to the New England Patriots. Even so, they remain a powerful team, and Josh Allen put on his Superman cape in the divisional round against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
