Heading into the NBA Playoffs, the Houston Rockets probably thought they were the luckiest team of all 16 set to participate. In fact, Polymarket gave the Lakers only a 14% chance to advance to the next round. Well, after three games, the Lakers are only one win away from completing an absolutely stunning first round sweep. On Friday night, LeBron James spearheaded the team with 29 points, 13 rebounds and six assists. A late three-pointer from The King sent the game to overtime.

But during regulation, an even cooler moment happened for LeBron. Bronny James and his father combined for an alley-oop, showcasing the chemistry they’ve developed over the course of their relationship. Bronny also hit a three-pointer. While he only played nine minutes, Bronny made both of his shots and finished with a +4 plus-minus.

The Rockets were without Kevin Durant in Game 1 and Game 3, but this has turned into a somewhat embarrassing series for Houston. The Lakers have simply looked like the better team and appear to want it more than the Rockets do.

Houston were in control late in Game 3, too. Mistakes from their younger players ended up costing them dearly. Now, it will take a miracle to claw back and win fourt straight.
