The young Brazilian striker Endrick was once again the protagonist in European football by scoring a last-minute goal that meant the equalizer for Olympique Lyon against Celta Vigo in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League round of 16.

The Brazilian’s goal came late in the game and allowed the French side to salvage a key result in the tie, reaffirming the great form the striker is enjoying during his time at Lyon.

A decisive goal in Europe

The match seemed to be tilting in Celta Vigo’s favor until Endrick appeared in added time to score the equaliser, sparking celebrations from the French team.

The goal was especially important because it keeps the tie open before the second leg, where both clubs will be looking for a place in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

His prominence grows at Lyon

Since his arrival at Lyon, Endrick has been gaining prominence and minutes in the team. The striker has 11 appearances for the French club, in which he has begun to show the talent that made him one of the great promises of world football.

His ability to appear in decisive moments and his goalscoring instinct have been key to establishing himself in the team’s attacking rotation.

A gem that belongs to Real Madrid

The young striker belongs to Real Madrid, who signed him from Palmeiras after standing out in South American football from a very early age.

The loan move to Lyon is designed to ensure the striker gains experience in European football before making the step up to Real Madrid’s first team.

A striker for the future

At Real Madrid, Endrick is seen as one of the great offensive bets for the coming years, and performances like the one he produced against Celta Vigo reinforce this perception.

At 19 years of age, the Brazilian continues to gain experience in high-level competitions and is showing that he has the potential to become one of the most important strikers in European football.

With decisive performances like this, Endrick continues to take firm steps in his development and reinforces the idea that Real Madrid could have in him the striker to lead their attack in the future.
