Shields vs. Perkins
After defeating Vanella Lepage-Joanisse in July 2024 to win the WBC, WBF, and WBO heavyweight belts, Shields signed to defend the WBC championship against Danielle Perkins. The fight at the Dort Financial Center in Flint, Michigan, caused an immediate stir among Claressa’s fans.
