Kate Scottcommented with Jamie Carragher on CBS Sports Golazo the situation that has affected two of his former Liverpool teammates, Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa (a ‘red’ player from 2004 to 2009).

Jamie Carragher, Liverpool legend, remembers with Micah Richards (formerly of Manchester City who admitted that he injured himself having sex) when “we needed to keep a clean sheet to make sure we had the best defensive record of the season”.

The former England international said that “Arbeloa was not a great player, but he was a good player… And he started to think he was a great player”.

“So I needed him to get his feet back on the ground. He was attacking too much and I just wanted him to defend. That was his job. Our aim was to keep a clean sheet,” he explained.
