WTA Finals 2025 Prize Money: How much money does the tournament champion in Riyadh win?

The 2025 WTA Finals are reaching their dramatic climax. After a week of electrifying matches, the finalists are about to be decided-and one of the biggest incentives is the largest prize purse in the tournament’s history.

This elite event, which brings together the top eight players of the WTA season, will conclude this Saturday at the King Saud University Indoor Arena in Riyadh, UAE, where a new champion will be crowned.

Last year’s winner, American Coco Gauff, was eliminated in the group stage, clearing the path for Aryna Sabalenka, Amanda Anisimova, Jessica Pegula, and Elena Rybakina to vie for the title.

But beyond the prestige of being crowned the best of the best in the 2025 season, the winner of Saturday’s final will walk away with a massive paycheck-especially if she finishes the tournament undefeated.

How Much Will the 2025 WTA Finals Champion Earn?

This year’s tournament boasts a record-breaking prize pool of $15.5 million, with $12.4 million allocated to the singles competition and $3.1 million to doubles.

If the champion finishes with a flawless 5-0 record, she will earn a staggering $5.24 million. If she drops just one match in the group stage, her prize drops slightly to $4.88 million-still an impressive haul.

Following the group stage, Sabalenka faced Anisimova, while Pegula took on Rybakina in the semifinals. Defending champion Gauff exited early, finishing with two losses and one win.

Who’s in the running for the top prize of the WTA Finals 2025?

Of the four semifinalists, only Sabalenka remains in contention for the full prize, having swept the Stefanie Graf Group.

Rybakina, who topped the Serena Williams Group, saw her group-stage match against Madison Keys canceled. As a result, even if she wins the tournament, she can only finish with a 4-0 record.
