Who will sing with Bad Bunny at the 2026 Super Bowl?

In less than a month, Bad Bunny will be the star of the Super Bowl 2026 halftime show, one of the most-watched stages on the planet. The Puerto Rican artist will headline the show on February 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, in a performance that is already generating enormous expectations among music and football fans.

So far, the NFL has not confirmed whether the singer will be joined by other artists during the show. Traditionally, the league usually announces special guests at least three weeks before the event, although it does not always follow that pattern. In 2024, for example, Usher’s companions were not revealed until Super Bowl week, while in 2022 figures such as Anderson .Paak and 50 Cent appeared as unannounced surprises.

It would not be surprising if Bad Bunny performs solo. In recent editions, artists such as Rihanna (2023) and The Weeknd (2021) starred in individual shows without guests. However, if he decides to share the stage, a recurring possibility is that he will opt for old-school references or emerging artists, a constant in his career.

What kind of show can be expected?

Bad Bunny is one of the most versatile exponents of the urban genre. His music fuses reggaeton with pop, salsa, electronics and other rhythms, while his lyrics often address themes such as partying, sexuality, heartbreak, identity and social and political issues. In fact, the artist himself recently assured that his performance at the Super Bowl “is for my people, my culture and our history.”

Although the official setlist has not yet been revealed, some songs appear as strong candidates. One of them is “Baile Inolvidable”, his only foray into salsa, which broke records by becoming the first song of the genre to reach number one globally on Spotify and Apple Music. The song had an impact not only in the United States and Latin America, but also in countries such as France, Greece and New Zealand.

Another option is “El Apagon”, an energetic and electronically tinged song that remains one of the most powerful moments of his tour. The track also stands out for its political message, focusing on gentrification and displacement in Puerto Rico.“EoO”, one of his most danceable reggaeton songs with more than 600 million plays on Spotify, seems like a sure bet to light up the stadium. In addition, “Lo que le paso a Hawaii”, slower and more reflective in tone, could bring the more social side of the show, addressing Puerto Rico’s colonial relationship with the United States.

Will there be a “little house” on stage?

One of the hallmarks of Bad Bunny’s concerts is the so-called casita: a replica of a house with friends and celebrities dancing during the show. Since Super Bowl halftime shows usually feature elaborate sets, it is not out of the question that this element will also be part of the staging.

Bad Bunny, born on March 10, 1994, will be 31 years old and will arrive at the 2026 Super Bowl at the peak of his career, ready to bring his music, message and cultural identity to America’s biggest sporting event.
